Though unsigned, I can personally verify its authenticity, as it is one of only three matching pieces made by Jimmy and kept in our family’s private collection for nearly half a century. I am Bill “Wandering Fox” Green, and as a child, I had the rare privilege of learning lapidary techniques directly from Jimmy on the reservation. In a modest shack powered by a single electric line and a stone-cutting wheel, he showed me how to shape and set turquoise with care and pride.
