Platinum & Diamond Earrings

PLATINUM & DIAMOND EARRINGS REPURPOSED FROM an ART DECO BROOCH
One pair of customized filigreed, polished, platinum and 18K white gold, diamond art-deco (1920-1930) exquisite chandelier-style earrings with locking backs. Perfect for adding a touch of class and sophistication to any ensemble and for any occasion. When we (Jewelry & Timepiece Mechanix) received the Platinum Art Deco filigree brooch it was in nearly new condition despite the fact that it had been made somewhere between 1890’s and 1915. For diamonds of this time period and with the prevailing cutting technology they are bright and lively and show little to no fluorescence. We carefully cut the brooch down the centerline and handcrafted 18k posts and lever backs. At the bottom of the earrings we used a delicate 18k white gold chain to create 5 dangles on each earring with handmade 18k white gold balls on the bottom. The motion of the dangling chains catches the light beautifully. The earrings measure approximately 41.00 mm in length by 18.00 mm tapering to 4.00 mm in width and weigh a total of 3.00 grams. In excellent condition. Natural Diamonds set in these earrings weigh 2.0 carat t.d.w.
