Terri has been a longtime customer and friend. She never thought she'd find "Mr. Perfect" but ...she did! He gave her this lovely sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Gary told me that she insisted that I make the fitted wedding band. Challenged by the asymmetry and beauty of the ring we came up with a beauty of an idea. Here it is! Gary communicated with me every step of the way. He really is her "Mr. Perfect" Thank you both for your trust and friendship. The offer to officiate is still open...let me know?

Over the years he has transformed and restored jewelry and family heirlooms for us with excellence, care and with storytelling/history that has added even more meaning to each piece. “The Barefoot Jeweler” is a Haddonfield jewel himself - go see him, the team, enjoy music, find treasures and get a welcome snuggle from the shop pup!

Bill has been wonderful, creative and helpful over the past year. I brought in some old family jewelry which he took the time to go thru each piece with me and if he was not sure on a piece, he researched the value to see if it was worth repairing. Only a couple pieces were worth having him restore, and with the rest, I walked out with a nice check for “scrap”! I challenged him with designing a safety catch on a heavy triple chain bracelet, and his ingenious solution was a sturdy but sleek double clasp! I think his prices are reasonable, keeping in mind his expertise and excellent craftsmanship. Bill is truly an artist!

Stopped by today for some minor service. Bill went out of his way to have a conversation with me while doing the repair. Before I knew it repair was done. What a friendly atmosphere promoted here. I will look to return around the Holidays for gifts.

I had Bill separate engagement and wedding rings. He separated and resized them, and they even packed them up so I could send them off to my son. They always do a wonderful job!

Bill is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable about jewelry. He knows his stuff. He is very talented. He made me a new wedding band and was able to match it to my old wedding band and added diamonds to it. It was absolutely stunning and the diamonds just sparkle. I get so many compliments. I also purchased diamond studs from Bill and they are perfect. I wear them every chance I get. The people that work with him are wonderful and easy to work with as well. Very friendly and always willing to help. Love it there and will continue to go there whether it is to clean my jewelry, fix something or buy new things.

What a great place! After Mom passed I realized that an old Christmas ornament with a wind up music component was not working. Bill was able to get it working again. Silly little Christmas ornament, but it meant a lot to me. Bill said he's in the "happiness business". So true, made me REALLY happy! Highly recommend, would absolutely return again.

On our honeymoon 49 years ago, we bought a. Wedgwood cameo ring. Although it was quite inexpensive at the time, it has always been very special to me. I was heartbroken when the cameo came out and the first jeweler I went to was not sure how it could be repaired .
Timepiece Mechanix not only repaired it, but it actually looks better than it did all those years ago. Thanks Bill, you are obviously a Master jeweler and I will definitely recommend you to my friends!

On recommendation of a friend we took my engagement ring and wedding band, which were my husband's great grandmother's, to be cleaned. We ended up resetting the diamond and getting an appraisal as well. Bill is very professional and knowledgeable, friendly and funny His work is excellent. We could not be more pleased with the outcome and highly recommend a visit to the shop, you will not be disappointed. 5 stars without a doubt.

Recently I inherited a cherished family heirloom; an 1890's Stella music box. It had sat for years untouched and deconditioned. As excited as I was to receive it, I was dismayed to hear how out of sorts "she" had become.
Finding someone to help us was another conundrum. It's not like there are schools that crank out antique music box repairmen! I did a LOT of investigating, researching and gumshoeing. I had spoken to several clock and jewelry repairmen and shop owners. I kept hearing over and over again about this little shop in Haddonfield, NJ...Jewelry and TImepiece Mechanix. So I called...
When I brought my musicbox to their shop, they were immediately excited to see and hear it. Together they were able to diagnose, repair and refurbish our "dear Stella" to its original sound. (or at least what I imagine it would have sounded like 130 years ago)
I was able to reveal our newly refurbished music box at our annual Christmas party. She made an outstanding centerpiece. My mother and sisters were over the moon at how well she sounded, as were all of the guests. I told Bill that my family is so thankful to both he and Tom for doing such a thorough and detailed reconditioning/refurbishing project. I only wish my dear departed grandfather could hear her heavenly notes. Something tells me that he can from where he is....;")
I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have found Jewelry and TImepiece Mechanix, and the team of Bill and Tom. Haddonfield isn't exactly around the corner from me, but it was well worth the trip.

I don't have the need for a jeweler that often, but when I do, this is my go-to place. Bill and his staff take the time to listen to the story and work with you on pricing and design so you get what you want; also known as "good customer service." You can take a seat, get a cup of coffee, and work together...No hustling you out the door if you're not ready to make a purchase. So, if you are looking for an impersonal, antiseptic, mall-type shopping experience then Jewelry & Timepiece Mechanix IS NOT the place for you.

A few weeks after purchasing my wife a diamond anniversary band from a big-box online retailer, we had a problem. One of the prongs bent, causing the center stone to "float" in the setting. After receiving a modest repair credit "e from the original manufacturer I set out in search of a local jeweler to perform the repair. I researched as much as I could about local jewelry repairs and decided to give Bill at Jewelry and Timepiece Mechanix a shot. My wife and I walked into his shop on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted immediately - everyone working there was extremely friendly and personable. I explained my situation with complete transparency (purchased online/the ring was damaged/needed budgeted repairs) and Bill was very accommodating. He took the time to explain the manufacturing process that was used and how he would have done it if he handcrafted the ring himself (which they do in-house). Not once did he make me feel foolish for making the purchase online and receiving a sub-par item. Instead, he provided me with clear, honest facts of why the setting failed and how he planned to repair it. He was more than happy to work within our allotted budget. Since it was a slightly involved repair, we had to leave the ring there for a couple days (they're closed on Sunday and Monday). I felt completely comfortable doing so. I also asked, while they had it, if he could re-size the ring a 1/4 size. I was also going to have my wife's engagement ring rhodium plated. However, after an initial inspection Bill said: let's see if that's really the case. He disappeared for about 10 minutes and emerged from the back with a glistening ring that looked brand new. Turns out all it needed was a good cleaning and polish - which he did for free. He could have easily charged me for rhodium plating and I would have been none-the-wiser, this is a testament to his honesty integrity as a businessman. My wife picked up the ring on Tuesday- the diamond was set tightly, the ring was re-sized and everything looked brand new. No problems at all! If you're searching for a friendly, personable, honest ,small-town jeweler/repairman I'd certainly recommend giving Bill at Jewelry and Timepiece Mechanix a shot. I cannot vouch for his prices however, as I didn't obtain multiple quotes - although they were comparable to what I was expecting based on online research. I can vouch for the quality of his repairs and his integrity as a person/business person.

I have two pieces of jewelry that mean a great deal to me that I was unable to enjoy because of repairs needed. The jeweler made an appointment with me that was socially distant. Both repairs were minor and I was able to walk out wearing my jewelry. What a wonderful business and businessman to have in Haddonfield!!

After going to several other jewelers in New Jersey and no one could solve the problem I was fortunate enough to find Bill at jewelry & timepiece Mechanix who went way above and beyond in helping me out. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who has a problem great people love dealing with them

I can't say enough about Bill and his staff. They are incredibly friendly and always greet you when you walk in. There is never any pressure, but they are always willing to answer any questions you may have. I went in to buy an engagement ring and I had no knowledge of anything related to jewelry...All I knew was I wanted to wow my girlfriend. Bill walked me through the entire process, and created me a custom ring that was well within my price ring. The ring blew my (now) fiance away!! I have told all my friends about him, and I send anyone I know who is looking for jewelry his way.

I'm moving and under a lot of stress...need I say more. Several weeks ago, I cleaned my engagement ring and put it on a towel next to the kitchen sink. At the same time, I grabbed a banana, peeled it, and shoved the outside in the garbage disposal. Concurrently, I grabbed the towel to wipe my hands as I turned on the garbage disposal. I couldn't have planned the timing better. The ring flew into the disposal! Although the center stone was undamaged, the ring and the side diamonds were mangled. I took the ring to Bill at Jewelry & Timepiece Mechanix. Taking on the challenge, Bill made a cast and resconstructed the original setting, purchased more than 45 years ago. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect, but when I opened the box, the ring was an exact replica! I could not tell the difference. Wow! Bill worked his magic. I haven't seen the setting sparkle this much in a very long time. Bill, thank-you so much! You're the best!
